The NT participates in the following visa nomination scheme:

Please note: An application for NT Government nomination must be submitted after applying for an Expression of Interest (EOI) on the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s (DIBP) SkillSelect website. The NT Government does not issue invitations to apply on the EOI.

SkillSelect is an online database through which skilled overseas nationals, who are interested in migrating to Australia, can record their details to be considered for a skilled visa through an EOI.

Australian state and territory governments and employers can search and locate people who have registered their interest in migration through SkillSelect.

The NT Government can identify and nominate suitable candidates and this will result in them being invited by the DIBP to lodge their visa applications.
